A7s changing aperture by itself

Dear A7s community,

I'm proudly filming with my A7s for a few months now. But there's a strange phenomena I've found and couldn't fix so far:
As soon as I'm pointing on a highlighted area when filming (after having exposed the scene the way I like it manually) the camera is somehow opening/increasing the exposure which then of course makes the clip unusable. It happens with my Sony E PZ 18-105mm f/4 G OSS Lens as well as with my Canon 50mm 1.8 on my Commlite Adapter.
So I'm pretty sure that it's a problem with the camera itself and not the lens that is attached to it.

Has anyone of you experienced the same and may has a solution for my problem?

Yep, 100% sure. All set to manual. And it really only occurs when pointing on highlighted areas - which makes no sense to me, because if there was some "auto mode" turned on, it would rather close the aperture than opening it, I guess!?
