A7s and Sony 28-135 Question

Hey all--I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this combination. I have a lens budget of around $5000 to spend on my A7s. Currently I'm using Canon lenses with the Metabones adapter, but I'm hoping to go all in on the E mount platform this year. Would you recommend the 28-135 or the 24-70 and the 70-200 combo? Either way I'm going to supplement the kit with the 16-35 wide angle.

I mainly shoot corporate video, micro documentaries, and commercials. I appreciate any feedback you may have. Thanks!

I'm an amateur enthusiast and have the 28-135 cine lens and I absolutely love it. Im coming from a 5d mark iii shooting video with the 24-105L and 100L macro. I've never had powered zoom and I have to say, it is an awesome feature. Smooth as butter. As well, the autofocus may not be lightning fast but it works reasonably well in my opinion. Lastly, this lens has proper manual focus with hard stops and it works just like you expect it to, unlike the other Sony lenses.

the downside is that while relatively light for its focal range, it's a beast on this camera. It throws off the balance and makes it tricky to do handheld. I say this bc I could easily do handheld with my 5d and the 24-105.

All in all, I think the lens is great. Perhaps a professional can weigh in as well.
