Hi I just want to let you know how good this camera's performed (IMHO) in this filming obstacle run event.
2 Cameraman, DJI4, A7S, A7S II and a6300

I used the beholder for quick running shots and to bring allong everywhere in my backpack. Great combo with the a6300
The Ronin M for the start and an other few parts.

How-ever it was sunny, we shot everything without ND because I love what it does to the flying mud and water. It's magic to me.
I did bring 3 Tiffen ND's but did not feel to use them.

I biked arround with my a7s on my neck and the beholder and a6300 in my hand. My collegue biked around with the drone and the a7sII
Everything had to be done quick. Before the action was over.

Everything filmed in 50 and 100fps and editted on a 25p sequence.
PP Cine4 on pro setting.

I like the video, all the content blends nicely together except for the drone shots imo. The Sony's are doing such a nice job, I also recently got a a6300 and the autofocus and overal quality is so good that I decided to sell my a7Rii (to poor more money in my FreeFly Alta/Movi rig). The camera on the DJI just can't keep up with the Sony's and that makes for some rough transitions.

Nice job in general.

Nice! I am debating picking up an a6300 to pair with an Fs5 for a b-cam/gimbal for a triathlon shoot. The overheating issues scare me but I am thinking I would mostly record in HD with short occasional 4K shots. The main thing I want it for is a personal stills camera also.

Just got the a6300 today, great device except for the overheating. I just did a test at 4K 24p and it overheated and shut off in 16 minutes. Unfortunately I need to do continuous recording for considerably longer so this isn't acceptable. This was indoors with no sunlight at 77 degrees. My a7sII doesn't have this problem, I've recorded with it for 45 minutes straight without any overheating warning or issue. I don't care what the pricepoint is, if Sony is going to sell 4K cameras they should be able to record for 30 minutes straight without issue. Very dissapointed and the camera will be going back.
