A6500 usb power supply

The 1amp (that came with the camera) and 2.1 amp IC usb power supplies that I have dont seem to charge the battery of my a6500 faster than it depletes when powered on. Eventually the camera powers down due to battery running out. Can anyone recommend a usb brick that they know charges it faster than it uses it up? I prefer to use a battery and power through usb than a dummy battery/ac kit.

Part of the problem might be that USB only carries 5v, while your camera draws 7v. I don't know what amperage your camera draws, but it's probably somewhat variable depending how hard the processor is working. A dummy battery is the only way I know to power the camera for long periods.
