a6500 lock up bug?

Hi all, I just got my a6500 today and playing with it.
Is the camera just responding slow is normal?
every step i did like (start/stop recording, active other focus mode, going in/out the menu and some other functions too) there is a half to one sec lag on my body.
if I stop the recording and instant going to turn off face detection, it would say "The function is currently disabled."

if I keep doing things too fast, the screen on the back monitor will sometimes "lock up"
in "lock up" mode the camera still run like normal just the UI on the monitor freeze, all the display icon on the monitor will just stay as it as when it "lock up". changing anything the UI will not update.
like face detect box will stay on the same position, the red rec text will keep stay saying rec even u stopped the recording, pp display, etc
pressing menu in "lock up" will not going in menu.

I need to pull out the battery, then its will be back to normal. turning the camera off and on will not fix this.

anyone having the same problem? hope sony will place a firmware update to fix this

I would send it back and get a new one. My first a6300 came and had some pretty bad glitches and froze a lot. The quality control isn't the best for these cameras. Great images. Just have to watch out for bad batches sometimes.

shop here has no return policy in my country.
once u bought it, u pretty much take it if it was a some glitches. the shop doesnt care
only local sony warranty will cover it, doubt sony will replace another unit /sign
