a6300 Zebra Bug?

I've tested this on three different a6300's each with a different type of lens (not that the lens should matter).

When the zebra number increased, the zebra lines increase. So zebra set to 95 has SIGNIFICANTLY more zebras than when zebra is set to 70. And 100+ covers the entire screen with zebras. This should not be happening. Increasing the zebra number should reduce the zebra lines b/c it's raising the lower threshold for displaying zebras.

All three cameras are using the latest Sony firmware, ver. 1.10.

Is anyone else noticing this same behavior?

wow this camera has this bug and noone noticed yet????

guys what do you use for exposure...zebra are very useful when well implemented

It's crazy, and verifiable. The zebras do work properly as long as the image isn't blown out. So if the histogram on the display shows nothing truly hitting the right, then, for example, 70% zebras will show more stripes than 100% zebras. But if you increase the ISO or open the aperture to the point where image legitimately starts to blow out, all hell breaks loose. And blowing out the image more actually DECREASES the zebra stripes, which is crazy. And lowering the zebra threshold actually decreases the amount of zebra stripes. It's definitely a bug. And a really bad one.
