I just typed "Video Glossary" into the search bar for google, and came up with this result. See what you like best out of it, or do your own search. Hope it helps.
I did a few searches for "DV Terms" "digital filmmaking terms" before I made this post, that first website from your google search defniitely helped, envision, but i still cant find the definitions for 60i, 30i and so forth.
Check out the Quantel and Avid sites for their Digital Facts book and HD dictionaries.
As a quick answer; 30i is 30 frame per second interlace. 24p is 24 frame per second progressive. etc. the first number is the "frames per second rate" and the letter designates the frame structure as progressive or interlace. In the case of 1080p/24 the structure is
resolution/progressive/frame rate.
Where it gets screwy is when 60i is used since every other term refers to FRAMES per second and not fields. If you say 30i, that is 30 frames per second interlace which is the same as 60 Fields.
