Hello,
my latest project: a 10min documentary with the af100 and a gh2.

A short film dealing with the mixing and developing of different kind of urban sports:
breakdance,martial arts, tricking & freerunning!
Sports that are not accepted as such cause they are part of a urban culture and performed different from person to person.
All sports have in common that no money but a strong will is needed to practice and improve skills.

Enjoyed the great shots and the excellent editing.

Missed seeing some great close ups to break up the wider shots. I know wider shots are part of dance and action such as this but some C.U's would have really rocked this for me.

That 7-14 really did a great job for you -- errr...should say you did a great job with the 7-14! Curious to know your opinion of the 100-300. Thanks.

the 7-14mm ist great. extreme wide with little distortion.
the 100-300mm in a bundle with the gh2 and af100 is also a great lens. not that fast of course, but with a nice blur, couse of the crop factor 600mm in very small form factor and the stabilizer works very good, although you need a tripod @600mm focal length. What I don´t like about all the panasonic lenses is that you have slide/push the lens for zooming... you get a lot of sand and dust into the lens. but you have a small form factor... so cons and pros... - cheers Soeren

Really want to grab a 7-14mm for my AF100 now.

How did you achieve the hyper slo-motion effects?
 
Really fantastic! Also makes me wish I had the 7-14. I would also like to know which shots are with which camera :) And how was that CRAZY SLO-MO achieved?
 
@ Jacob: the slow-motion is made with twixtor, would love to shoout with a real highspeed camera - perhaps in the next project...

@ Matthew: Its really 50/50. If there is a scene with a wider and a closer shot, you can be sure that one is made with the af100 and the other with the gh2.

The gh2 really holds up with the af100 in lot of situations. Just for internet use and if you are aware not to provoke antialising and moiree shots like filming a fence or builings a "normal" viewer will not see the difference.
But I will use the sdi output for recording and hdmi for monitoring of the af100 for the next project that will be produced for bluray.
I will use the GH2 just for steadicam shots and r/c helicopter shots .
 
Its shot in 16:9, and added a letter box in post a) for a cinematic look b) for a place for german subtitles, not use in this vimeo link.
The af100 displays the 2.35:1 safe marks on the lcd and viewfinder. that makes it easier.
