A test skit done w/ my friend

My friend and I decided to test out my new DVX100A. This entire thing was adlibbed and nothing was really discussed about what we were going to do, other than a spoof infomercial. I know how bad the audio is, as the only gear we had was the camera and some worklights. The mic we used was a Shure 58 mounted onto the camera, and we had three worklights. There are a couple shots out of focus you'll notice.

So I guess I'm looking for comments on anything really.

Anything you want to say about it, please post it here. We are still noobs so this isn't really good, but still let me hear anything you think can help me in the future.

The biggest problem you guys got is knowing comedic timing and writing a coherent plot. I couldn't tell if the guy was suppose to be high or retarded. There was a bit of adam sandler in there, then I saw some south park in there. It was just all over the place. And the music was a bad choice to run through the entire thing.

Also I wouldn't use nigger faggot randomly like that. It just seems racist, which I don't think you guys were trying to go for that. The character wasn't asshole enough to say nigger faggot and come off as someone who does that, so it just seemed racist. the sketch completely lacked composition, even for the cuts to him drinking and smokin. It just wasn't cut away right. I didn't know if it was suppose to look like he recorded over something or if it was behind the scenes footage. There's a lot that needs to be done, I'd suggest watching spoofs that you like and analyzing how they did it and why its funny.
