A Taste for Danger

I thought that acting was unconvincing because of the everything in focus look but i just muted sound and it was quite ok,so first thing to do if i would be you - buying new microphone , i dont know which but it would improve A LOT.
Also maybe try to get 35mm adapter tho it still looks quite ok without shallow DOF when i mute the sound.

Forgot to mention this was a student short, little to no budget. Thanks for the tips.
What do you mean by the audio? It sounds fine on my end... what was your issue with it?

,Well just compare it to any feature film, i watching "leon professional" right now and i made a break to watch your film and i couldnt stand the sound ,it makes acting very unconvincing. Then i turned sound down and WOW it improved actually whole experience.I wont be able to help you with this as im researching myself about microphones ,but as advice i can give you this - dont ask young guys about microphones , ask a guy who shoot on 35mm film here , then you will get info what are the real film microphones do not ask for most used ones by young filmmakers or about most popular microphones.
