A short timelapse

cool timelapse, I love timelapse footage. What would you do different? Ive been testing out some stuff, what would everyone say the best framerate per second would be for the best looking timelapse?

I've always liked the look of 1 frame per second if I want a nice slow movement. You can always speed it up slightly in post if need be. If you really want the clouds racing by or if the clouds aren't moving much, shoot 1 frame every 3 seconds. Of course, YMMV.

I basically did a 3 frame burst every 10 seconds. I thought 1fps might look "strobed" where as getting a few frames might offer some smoother motion.

Doing it again, I would set up up sooner and not try to do it so last minute. I'd like to get some light in the foreground before the sun dropped. I really think that's what's missing.

I may try another one next week.
