A short, sin city-style

Everything was lit with a single 500w work lamp...

THIS was lit? :)
Sorry, couldn't resist. It's a good effort with nice editing, but I do think it's wayyyyy to dark (and I mean the luminosity, not the story).
It might show fine on a TV, but needs some brightening up for watching on the computer.

ADDED:
Okay, I watched it again: its audio level is VERY low. And the main character is looking into the cam at one point, which seemed wrong.

Some shots were way too dark, particularly the long shots (obviously, would've been hard to fill the shot with enough light with a 500w work lamp). But I liked the short, it's good to just get out there and shoot/edit stuff, even just small clips like this.

Only other thing that was a bit weak was the gunshot effect, it should've at least been edited to fade out at the end so that the sound doesn't stop so abruptly.

I know it's dark. We didn't really pay much attention to the lighting, as it was very cold outside and just something we made for fun :)

The audio is kinda low, I know. It's strange, in my editing program it sounds fine, but when I export it, it instantly sounds lower.

Thanks for feedback, and keep posting :)

It's an Ok first start. I wouldn't really call it Sin city style. In the beginning it's so dark it looks like his head is floating. The gun shot I couldn't see the gun at all and the sound of the gun came to long after the kickback. Also I don't know if that was a muzzle flash but they generally come out the barrell end of the gun. Overall nice try though. Just keep at it and don't give up.
