A Short Movie

I posted some still shots of my footage from my little trip to Toronto not to long ago.. I have made a little something out of the footage. I just put it together in an hour or so... so it isn't much..

Let me know what ya think of it.

Re: A Short Movie

Hey Loki,
did you use a tele converter or was it done with the built in zoom? itseemed you had quite a bit of zoom in your shots. Please let me know thanks,

Re: A Short Movie

no tele converter used. just the default zoom capability of the DVX lens. Pretty decent for 10x.

cheers

Re: A Short Movie

Nice shots. I'm always inspired to shoot out of a train window. That's good establishing or transitional footage for a narrative...I like the night stuff too. My friend told me last night that Canadians hate fat people. I hope that's not true.

Re: A Short Movie

Nice job.

I agree with Bill, I really thought your best shot was the one with the glass building and the sweet pinkish blue sky sweeping past it. Glorious ! ;D

My only suggestion might be to "slow down" your zooms. Since you weren't really shooting an action film, but more of a traveloge, I'd suggest using your zoom feature less or when you do use it... use it slowly.

Sweet job though. I still haven't tackled shooting in city, so my hats off to you!

Re: A Short Movie

thanks for feedback guys..

hillcity, I dunno what kind of crack your friend has been smoking.. I am gonna say that since there are plenty of fat canadians (me partially ;) ) that no.. we do not hate fat people..

I found that so funny.... :D so random and out of nowhere... unless it somehow relates to a shot I have?? I dunno..

but ya.. we like em up here in the cold white north ;)
