Hey guys,

First off I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet on this forum so you can slam me if it has.

Anyway I've been waiting for the E-series to come out and when I phoned my local retailer they told me that panasonic Canada is offering a limited time promotion: basically all the A-series cards are at the new reduced E-series price because they didn't meet their delivery deadline in May.

So, I just bought an A-series 64Gig card for $1200 canadian, which was normally around $3000 dollars. This thing is an absolute beast! Has anybody else scooped up this deal?

I grabbed one from Vistek the other week at about $1500 canadian with taxes all in. Went to see if I could grab another, but they seem to be sold out now.

I bought this at the end of June here in Vancouver at Lorne Lapham; however they had the same deal at Leo's Camera downtown, and also a bit more expensive at Vistek. Again what they told me is until they shipped the E-series, all the "A" series would be offered at the same price.
