a scene from my in progress film

It loaded for me. Not too bad. It's hard to comment on just a scene, not knowing any of the backstory, etc.

The only thing I can suggest is to really think about what the audience is going to get out of the visuals, otherwise you just have two talking heads during most of it. For example, when Johnny is walking down the isle at the beginning, there's that tracking shot from the other isle with the pews (a shot that probably needs to be framed with less head room). It doesn't really do anything at the beginning, but the same would probably do something with the tension at the end. Also, perhaps the tilt up on the Christ figure could happen while the two are talking. Try to get a lot of coverage when shooting. Shoot tighter on the actors (and, perhaps, wider) and then you have more to edit with in post. And then cut it down a ton until you only have the essentials, until the story is more visual. Just some thoughts.
