A Scanner Darkly...

[blindowl]

For those of you who don't know, this was a great film shot on a DVX100 and then later rotoscoped. Does anyone know of a version or bootleg of the film floating around in which it wasn't rotoscoped?

that's an interesting idea. i'd like to see that too. (although i didn't like the movie at all)

Charlie Kaufman wrote a script for this before Linklater was attached. You can get it in the scripts/writing section of www.beingcharliekaufman.com

If you're going to post on a movie that has been around a while you might want to do a search first, instead of adding yet another thread on the subject.

my apologies for opening up another scanner darkly thread, but whatever.

And thanks for some of that footage, Shane. I enjoyed the rotoscoping in the film, but yes, I think it would be interesting to enjoy it in its rawness as well.
