SHORT: A Reap of Faith

Hey guys.

First in a series of short films my production company have been working on. Absolutely no pre-production (as an experiment) and filmed in a day. 100% foley for the sound which was a nightmare.

We're really happy with how it came out and it would be nice if you guys enjoyed it also.

It works best when you don't really try to analyse the ending. There are quite a few possibilities.

Cheers!

Yeah, I can tell there was no planning. Camera was over-exposed most of the production. Really didn't find it amusing at all. What's the goal of this string of productions that you don't want to plan before hand?

I didn't even make it to the end despite it being only about 4 mins. Around the 2 minute mark my mind started wandering about other things. I think it could've been better if it was shot better, but it just looked like some guy in a cheap halloween costume. You should really plan your stuff out, it shows when you do.

I thought it was really good. The editing has a nice rhythm. The foley work was perfect. And I happened to like the story. I've made one or two shot-in-a-day movies, and yours was much better :)

I think my only comment would be the scythe in the car sequence got a little long... and the final shot a bit long. But other than that... what is this... "Death's Day Off'...
