I was reading through a critera list for a telefilm grant and I read this...

Productions with budgets under $300,000 must provide a broadcast licence

Aren't broadcast license's expensive??? how does an indy film maker get a large budget grant?

Is that supossed to be a link so we can read the details about it?

Thanks.

A broadcast license is provided to you by a broadcaster. ie. We pitched a project to one of the networks. They granted us the broadcast license to take our show to the next stage for the additional financing. You don't pay for it and it doesn't cost you anything.
