Award Winning Filmmaker
Wanted to share with you the teaser trailer to my upcoming feature "A Place To Call His Own". The documentary tells the story of my best friend (Matt McMahon) who lost his life in a car accident last year. I interviewed myself, his close friends and family to share the impact he left of his local community. The world needs to be reminded of the selfless saints in the world and Matt was by far the greatest friend i've ever had.
A short film cut is playing at the Naperville Film Festival in a few weeks, and the feature will be on DVD & Vimeo On-Demand in January.
Shot the interviews on the Sony Z1, past footage i took of Matt was done on the Panasonic GH1 and Sony NEX5n and additional interviews for the feature and insert material will be shot on an HDSLR of somekind or a DVX100 (unknown at this time).
Got a nice write up in the Chicago Sun Times. Here is a link to the trailer, and article, as well as the IMDb page.
Been posting on DVXuser since i was 14... i'm 22 now and I thought some of you would be proud.
