A Panasonic AF100 log & transfer problem

Hi all, I just started my experience with Af100. One problem I encountered is after log & transfer, some frames have weird pixelated compression effects, as below

I guess it shouldn't be the cards' issue as those pixelated effects at the same frames often disappear after another log and transfer process. - but god knows where they might appear in the second traneferred file... I log and transfer via fcp 7, onto a harddrive via firewire 800. Does anyone know what's the problem? or is there any other setting issues? Really appreciate!

The problem is that sometimes, when transferring footage to a Mac, Macs just glitch the data. It isn't an AF100 problem, it happens with every camera and it's not just SD cards, it happens on P2 also, and it's an issue that's been a constant complaint since at least 2004. It seems to be more problematic on the MacBook Pro.

The best solution I can offer for you is to use a data-verified copying program, one that compares the data bit-by-bit to the source data when it copies over. That way it will defeat the glitch... I don't know how many of those types of programs are available, but one that you can look at is ShotPut Pro by Imagine Software.

If you're using Premiere at all, it can read the data off the card, as a way to verify the footage. I miss FCP7 but I'm onto Premiere now, and I will say one of the best things about it is, no more log and transfer if you don't want to. I cut right off the card files (obviously I back the cards up and import from there, incase anyone misreads me).
