I've actually been heavily involved in the structuring and work behind this, but I thought since I've posted here years ago...
Anyhow, as some of you may know, I've had a couple of feature films of my own already distributed (The Devil's Muse and In A Spiral State specifically), but I've been doing stuff with sales agent/production company, Hollywood Wizard, and together we launched a new sales division for the company called Cinesouq.
It's a way to rep films without charging the usual high market expenses that sales agents for movies normally charge.
Anyhow, if you want to check it out, please do.
Here's the 1st newsletter we put together for indie filmmakers worldwide. It highlights the launch of the service and explains how it all works and stuff.
I hope it helps lots of folks get the word out on their films, and most importantly put them in front of buyers and distributors without any b.s.
