A new one: Madison

Drew,

What kind of shutter speed you got rolling on this? I know it's high, it adds a certain flavor to this content. I'm trying to figure out if I like it or not. I wasn't able to get through the whole thing because I have to go to class, but I liked it man. Great compositions and well written dialogue. Your actors did a pretty good job.

Justin,

The shutter speeds vary from shoot to shoot. In the more intense scenes (ie the end) we used incredibly high shutter speeds giving more of a choppy feel.

I like the beggining, but the audio sounds like it drops out, and the handhelds sort of break the continuity of the film, but over 8 out of 10 I liked it.

That was very good. I liked it. You have talent. However, I didn't like the audio at times. It gets cut down in an odd manner in certain sequences.

Ok Yeah, the audio is super messed up in this version, sorry about that guys, I will post an updated copy 2nite. Dont have any idea what happened.

Very good work. You have an eye. Like the way you told your story as well. I thought the screwed up sound actually added to it in a strange way.

Just Curious.

In the cafe scene, how do you create that overwhelming light in the background? The one that almost engulfs the characters? I like it.

I liked the movie as well.

-Edit-

And also.. what was your basic equipment list (i.e., camera, editing tools, mics, dolly's, etc.)?

If you don't mind. Just curious.

i thought it was excellent work, 10 times better than i could hope to acheive right now, the only thing that sort of spoiled it for me was the night time fight and madisons shooting, very dark, may be my computer ? but i couldnt see anything during that bit.
i loved the locations being all empty and desolate like that.
was the pizza eting bit the canon scene ?
well done

It looked pretty cool. The shots really came out during the day, on the beach, in the amusement park. Great Locations. I specifically liked the blown out resturant scene with the dialogue about superheroes.
The night flashback stuff was really really dark and hard to make out on my monitor, but that was my only complaint.
