Hawaii 4 weeks ago on honeymoon ---
First shoot with HVX, caught Pipeline at 8-12 foot, very lucky to get a swell that size this time of year...

nothing fancy, just 4.5 minute cut of some HVX shooting some surfing....nothing of the quality some of you guys produce on here, but thought I would share....

Workflow
HVX > Firestore > DVRack HD Decoder > PPro > Sorenson Squeeze to QT

Original file 1.1 gig our of PPro, squeezed down to approx 60 megs....QT 15 fps, quality 50%

HVX 720/30 BPress detail +4, Coring +1, Chroma +1, Knee Auto, Matrix Normal

Pretty cool - good job on the editing. Looks like you need a century 1.6 or 2.0 to really get in on the action - and move closer man!

I would love to try it, will be heading back to Hawaii shortly and will gladily take a demo to see if it works with the hvx....will be starting a winter shoot for a new surf video...

you provide demos / proof in puddin'?

I tried to bring my HVX on my honeymoon... but I got one of those 'looks'
anyway, nice footage

Looks great! Of course surfing is one of the best things in the world. Thinking of trading in my JVC HD10 and My Sony TRV-900 towards an HVX200. Beautifull colors. Really tempting.
