A Little Jazz...

Hello, all!

When a bunch of DVX enthusiasts get together and spend the whole weekend testing technique after technique, idea after idea, and shooting a lot of footage, some strange things sometimes come out of it.

Thought I'd share this little bit:
Jazz's Joke

Test was for different lighting techniques, getting a pure black background, rotoscoping out the operator, and color correcting for maximum dynamic range. Came out pretty good!

(And it's funny, too. Or at least, if you've been shooting video for 24 hours it's hilarious...)

A little of both, Gabe.

The testing in general was done to help us prepare for a hefty project we're doing in late February, but the section with the puppet was just to have some contrast to work with and see how the camera worked.

Jazz will be so disappointed you don't like his humor. :

Don't sweat it. I think most of Fozzie Bear's material was in the D range.
