Hey guys.

I'll be moving up to the HVX soon, but I'm trying to budget everything in. Could someone PLEASE link me a couple seconds of HD footy, 720p, 60p uncompressed? I need to see if a computer upgrade is in order or not, as this will be my first experience on the winding road of learning about HD.

Thanks in advance,
the future hvx_yaaaaaay.

If you'll tell us the specs of your system we can let you know if your system will playback DVCPRO-HD footage without a problem my MAC 2.5GHZ G5 treats it just about the same as DV as far as render times.

I got an older dual 1.8 G5 with a gig of RAM and a mediocore video card (the nvidida geforce 5200) and I can edit 720.... 1080 it gets a little boggy (but still workable)

mike at www.hdforindies.com could break you off with some real knowledge
