A link for ground glass

I was just wondering if this type of glass is usable at all.
I belive it is for displaying framed photo's but seems high quality. Maybe enough to use as a focusing screen? Anyone ever use something like this?

Yeah -- think of dvinfo as your first spot to go to see what does/doesn't work. I know there's a lot of pages to wade through, but often you can catch a specific thread and even a specific post within an archived thread via Google, and it streamlines the process tremendously.

Not to be arrogant, but just about every possible thing that can be tried has already been tried where GG is concerned. The things which have proven most successful (to varrying degrees) for a static design are simply one of three things: hand ground glass, 3 microns or smaller; some form of wax emulsion; an optical acrylic custom engineered diffuser (the Beattie and Maxwell screens fall into this category).
