GH5 A light but effective steadycam for GH5?

I wondered the same things. The Vary-i looks like a great product, yet it has no attention. Given the complaints about the lag of the HDMI, I would think this would be a good alternative to an external EVF. It does have the issue that it blocks the HDMI cable.

I never heard of it but from my general experience ere are the potential issues:

1. If that eyepiece isn't treated with an antifog coatings it will be like shooting in a sauna especially where you seem to be working.
2. Having the eyepiece off to the side actually reduces stability basically you want all contact points with the camera pressing towards the center of the camera body that is what stabilizes it.
3. It adds bulk and reduces functionality.

just get this :

for low angle shots

In my opinion VARY-i is a good option for my GH5 but what it baffles me is that it is very little known. Every guy recommends not to use it. Even in Euope it is impossible to find it. Nobody uses it and I'm thinking: why do I have to buy it? ;)
I don't know if I will buy it because I don't like to see an almost blurred LCD screen. But maybe there is no choise. ;) I will think about it.
