So were were shooting with the HVX this weekend on a shoot and set up a scene and got the perfect white balance, Everything was going great. Even set it to Ach and Bch just in case. Then we had to switch looks for one shot of the scene because we needed security camera footage and witched the Bch toa cooler white balance. anyways later on the scene we were back to the original look and had the camera on a rig and while mounting it, the AC accidentally hit ht e white balance and we lost it. Now luckily we logged how we achieved it but, i was thinking
Jan and Panasonic: can you put a hold switch on the camera next version, so that you can lock certain settings, maybe make that user controllable, like iris and WB. I know this has propb happened to other people and it sucks. i mean if the AC didn't log the WB or we couldn't achieve the same look, the scene could have been ruined. I know my finger has a tendacy to go there sometimes when i am shooting handheld or in a weird spot.
just a thought
