A good 1080p LCD for about £300

Hey

I;m looking to buy a 24" LCD monitor to go with my macbook pro, was looking at the Samsung SyncMaster 245B but heard it lacks image quality,

Are there any others out there that would be suitable,

I mainly use my mac for editing and watching films.

I use the Dell 24". I like it but it's not accurate enough for color grading. It great for real estate with my MPB. For serious color work on a budget look into the JVC 20 or 24" broadcast monitors.
 
I have the Dell 2408WFP at work for my MacBook Pro, and I agree with Tim completely. Excellent computer monitor, but not so good for color grading.

AND you can get it refurbished right now for $489 at Dell's outlet website (this weekend only I think): http://outlet.dell.com/

It's usually $600 new.
