Here is a little music video I threw together to acquaint myself with my NLE and my new DVX...

It's not perfect, I know my shadow is visible in some shots, and I know that 1 or 2 shots aren't perfectly level or stable....the whole thing was shot in under 3 hours so we were literally running to save ourselves some daylight. And some of the lighting between shots doesn't quite match....and I'm still trying to learn how to do the whole color correcting thing to fix that....ok enough disclaimer...

j/k... The compression wasn't good though. Maybe you can recompress it and see what it looks like.

just kiddin man, I thought the video was nice.

But wasn't there a very similar vid posted just a few weeks ago that had the same concept and the same song? Were you paying homage?

And the fact that you gotta click 10 links and get bombarded with a dozen pop-ups might have something to do why nobody is responding. You, my friend, need a new host.

yeah, I really like some of your shots. It seems like you know what looks good. but other ones were too shaky even for me.. and just dizzying. The fast guitar solo part of that coldplay song is my favorite part- but your images didn't really help the idea of the song all that much. That's just my opinion of course. I didn't like the fact that you white faded the widescreen mattes. thanks for sharing.
 
Allright thanks for the feedback guys...

I don't like how the transistions happen over the matte bars either, but I'm really new with vegas so I'm not sure how to fix them in post....any suggestions?

Well it was a good learning experience and I feel more confident with my NLE and camera .... now i just got to get out there and do more stuff.
