Sounds like they're both used items. I don't believe the B-stock HVXs come with the free 16gb P2 card. They're just throwing in the P2 card with a used camera to be generous.

At least that's what I think,

These particular B-Stock cameras don't apper to have been used at all. They look like they are in brand new condition. We had our service center go through them with a fine tooth comb and they are perfect.

We are just throwing in a 16GB card and Book to be nice at the end of the year and add value to a already great deal.

A-Stock is a new camera.

B-Stock is generally a used camera of some sort. This is the case with most manufacturers.

However, a more accurate term for the Panasonic "B-Stock" equipment is SSL. (Show, Sample, Loan)

Panasonic won't drag the same camera around with them for every training seminar and show that they to for a years time. That camera would not look very pretty. So what they do is open a new one. Show it off to people on a tripod and then pack it up in the box and sell it to us. We go through things because sometimes they are missing something and in this case CAM#2 is missing the battery charger.

Panasonic takes very good care of their SSL equipment so that you can enjoy a new camera at a B-Stock price. :)

We have included the card and the book in the box since we had it opened to evaluate the camera but it is only one 16GB P2 card.

Yeah, and since it's from spec-comm, you know you can trust this deal. I would have no reservation at all about buying one of these from them.

If people are thinking about buying an HVX, they should jump on this hard.

I wish I could justify a second camera right now.

Just to echo Mark's sentiments - Spec-Comm is top notch both in reliability and customer service. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy this from them... if I had the money to do it.

Justify? Why would any of us need to justify anything we do? :D

And I'll also add, my HVX is a B-Stock camera (though not purchased from Spec-Comm). It has worked flawlessly since day one.

Well... to be fair, 'justify' was my own rationalization to make me feel better....
"afford" woudl have been a better choice of wording.
