*A GAME* Name that movie (based on a still)

Alright, here is another from #1:

And, Callaghan, #3 is still waiting :)

OH a sunset!
I've seen a movie with a sunset!
:)

I guess these are easy as long as you've seen the movies.

I'm drawing a complete blank

ok, I'd like to buy a vowel: That sunset looks like it's from another planet, but the first pic looks like it's from Fawlty Towers!

Luis, you have seen that film, I guarantee. And if you took into account the gentleman on the bike from the first pic and the fact that the sunset shot is VERY long...

number one was soo easy...jeeez!.

Yeah, rub it in!
I wasn't thinking....
What kills me is I've seen it countless times.

The Paramount theater here in Austin has a GORGEOUS 70mm print of it that they screen every summer. My wife and I go see it every year (it was the first movie I took her to when we started dating). I guess that means we've watched in on the big screen at least 8 times now.

the first time i ever saw it was on a 70mm print at the cinerama dome in hollywood. i was blown away by that film, i was really caught up in it all...the time seemed to pass pretty quickly for me...great film.

the only crappy thing about the cinerama dome is its curved screen, which really bothers me, gives everything a sort of "fisheye" look. lines that were ment to be flat are not, like every amazing wideshot of the desert...i def want to see it again on a screen that isnt curved.

Ah come on, I wake up and noone guessed it? There've been quite a few movies by the same director posted here already and named without such troubles.

Ok... the movie is a really great mystery/thriller from 30s
And, Rich, it's funny you should mention Mr.Chips *wink*
