After extended use I find that the rubber eyecup gets very uncomfortable as the sharp inner edge gauges a neat red line into the side of my nose. OK maybe my nose is rather big but if you have the same problem there’s a neat and easy way to fix it for free! No messing about with pieces of ugly foam, all you need is some black insulating tape.
Just fold back the inner (left hand) edge and hold it in place by wrapping the tape round the viewfinder housing. Do it carefully and you can still leave the adjustment ring in use. See the attached image.
Try it – it works! A bonus is that now you can even leave your specs on.
