Live Free

Hey Riley,

Ever since I used the dvx camera last year in New York I kept dreaming about having this camera for myself one day. I borrowed it then, but could only use it 2 days. It was a dvx100a back then. Hope to shoot my next short with a Panasonic again. I was just wondering how much the dvx100b was (when u bought it)?

Thanks,

-Tommy

Luv the bokeh on the first grab. Very cool. If you need any help on your trailer, let me know, that's what I do.

Oh and be careful dating John McLane's daughter..it could turn out to be a Royal Pain..hee hee. Seriously she is awesome in everything she's in - hold on to that one, dude.

the car interior is my fav... it's the most cinematic. it's difficult to achieve that angle from inside the car while it's moving... maybe mounted on the dash... my dash board hardly has any room for my cam... the car handle with the hand is cool too... but don't forget to use those ND filters. that hand looked like it was on fire... good shot composition though... well done!! looking foward to the trailer.

$2700 from B&H Photo Video.

And I'm glad to see some people have seen Live Free or Die Hard. It is well worth the ticket price.

Thanks for the info. I just visited New York last week and I showed my girlfriend B&H. She's into photography (http://www.clementinedwayh.com) and she loved it there. Hehe, who doesn't. Only antisemites I guess. But I always compare that store to Santa's workshop. With that whole rail above the store that transports the goodies. And all those super cool old school little hebrew men, awesome. She bought two canon camera lenses. Too bad I didn't have any money to spend. I was drooling all over the place......

Live Free was insane, I read a lot of bad stuff about it on aintitcool etc. Went out to see it the other day and actually laughed out loud numerous times (so did the audience) and enjoyed it pretty much overall. After the credits I walked out satisfied. ( Did you have a chance to visit the set? I wish I could've seen the tunnel sequence behind-the-scenes. That was madness)

Tonight I went to see Transformers, jezus christ that was so cool. The special effects and sound are nuts. Crazy stuff there, but strangely enough from the moment the best actor (John Turturro playing a foolish role) came into the movie, it started to get really downhill and boring and I fell asleep. (Maybe it was me, I worked all day and it was the midnight screening... maybe it was Michael Bay)
