A fight scene in an hour

considering it was kids, thats not half bad at all......................... I assume if you had some well trained actors you could acomplish a wonderful scene. Good stuff.

yeah there's too many critics who seem to forget about the fun part in making videos! nice work.. I did Tae kwon do a few years ago and if I had been making videos then I would have loved to make a fight scene cos my mates are absolutely awesome martial artists..

oh and yeah WELL edited too, the whole scene flows

This is awesome. Maybe in the next video you could introduce a 3 section staff or some nunchucks for the boys to use?

So where's the tutorial??

EDIT: I found it on the link to your homepage. A direct link would be handy, though.

And the fist didn't get within twelve inches of him (safety first, especially with kids). It's all just angles and editng.

A note to "borgkingkong" about the Tae kwon do.
If you can get actors that actually know how to fight you can make fantastic fight scenes.
Plus, they can help in the choreography.
I'll say it again, nuthin but fun!

Very cool. I'll have to use that impact effect. Good stuff!

The only thing I didn't like was how one of the kids was wearing socks in the grass. Yugh.

That was a really helpful tutorial for us newbies! The illustrations on how to edit (e.g., make quick cuts, cut on action, get different angles) was great to see how it's done. The technique on cutting out a frame was great too. Thanks for taking the time to put that together.

I guess the only thing left to say is, "Let's fight, dude!" :nads: And get it on film. :)

fun stuff, man. i bet those guys had a blast making (and watching!) that. try the 24p, you'll be happy with the results.

I really want to shoot some stuff in 24p but I hate that chatter look and I'm just not up on all the extra techniques to minimize it. I'm working on it though.

good job, but where's the tutorial

I was able to watch the fight scene, and for the most part i really enjoyed it, especially the punches. However, I can't seem to get to the tutorial. Do you have it at another link? I'd really like to see how you did it.
