A few short DVX pieces

[dougspice]

All done in the last few days. Shot on DVX100 (not A) unmodified, pulled into After Effects. Keying in dvMatte Pro 2.0. Skies, birds, planes, contrails and everything else matte painted and composited. Final correction done in levels and Magic Bullet.

Quick fun stuff.

That was cool(both of them). You have any short films you'd like to show.

Thanks... the only shorts I have from recent years are all very silly comedies produced under hectic (and not very professional) circumstances. I curate a 24-hour film festival here in LA so I've done a number of those in the last year or two.

Soon I hope to shoot some professional looking stuff that's more action/drama oriented... if I can find a few thousand dollars sitting around I don't need.

If you wanna see some of the 24-hour films, our site is http://www.maydayfilms.com. Out of the current batch that's up I co-made one of them. My team operates in a very cooperative way though so we never really have a set "director" or "cinematographer".

very, very cool indeed! I really liked the coloring and the effects were really well done. I like small effects that add atmosphere - like the birds across the sky. Best of luck and keep posting.
