I've been having problems with my camera ever since I got it form B & H. I had it serviced at a Panasonic place and they had to put in 2 different boards . Yesterday was my first time using it since I got it back a week ago. As soon as I started recording, I got an "Auto/Off S Reel Lock". I turned it off/on and it was ok. HOWEVER, after a few minutes of recording, my camera started distorting the picture with a very intense strob-like green color. [ I had it in 24p]
From what I hear the "Auto/Off S [Supply] Reel Lock" could mean that I have a bad tape [I only use PANASONIC AY-DVM63AMQ [master] ]. Now the distorting strob-like green color, I think is something major then just the tape....like the board that they put in or the video heads. After all, they did mention that the first board they put in was a rebulit one from Panasonic...I assume they put in another one like it.... I got this camera in June....its crazy cause I know that this camera is a good one....I'm just having bad luck.
Has anyone experience this or knows someone who has. I'm going to talk with the Panasonic Tech and the Tech at the service center I used. Any help is greatly appreciated....Thanks!
