A different take on the comic book genre.

Cool concept, but curious as to who the target audience is... a lot of people can benefit from its content (don't know if that's was your intention though), but the younger ones (I have a 14 year old daughter) I don't think could watch it... the language and back alley blowjobs is not exactly something I would encourage my kid to see and hear, even if it drives home very important lessons.

Maybe i'm reading too much into it... but just my opinion.

Awesome - wish it was better technically but whatever. I loved it. I laughed out loud a few times, which is hard to do.

Smithhouse - I disagree, I think it's completely appropriate - but I'm too tired to back up my response with detailed point by point analysis.

Maybe when you're not so tired, Monte, you can shoot me that break down of why you think this vid, as it is, would be appropriate for young girls.

hey action junkie did you see "She`s Got An Atomic Bomb" at the Coney festival. My cousin made that.

STYLZ - It was shot on the DVX-100a of course.

Smithhouse - Well, the film is geared toward comic book lovers, but at a more mature and older level. It's a fan film.

Monte - Thanks for laughing...curious to know what technicaly aspects you wish were better? Always looking to improve our game.

x2mag68 - I didn't. We only went to our screening block on that Sunday. A couple of good films in there.

Hey Junkie... Have you considered maybe doing a revise so that you can reach a younger audience... You flick has a lot of truth to it...

SmithHouse

The film could easily be revised and made more appropriate. What's cool is that the faces are hidden behind the masks, so we could redubbed the whole movie easily. When we shot it originally, we did clean audio takes without the masks, then we did our picture takes. The director then replaced the audio from the masked takes with the sans masks takes.

Smithhouse - What I meant was that at 14 - those girls really aren't little angels anymore ya know? I've done plenty of stuff with that agegroup (14 y/o) - that I won't go into, but the fact remains Smith, that again - kids really grow up fast...

Just my opinion, best of wishes

My personal favorite part of that was Batman's reveal and whole scene up until Wonderwoman "favors" him. Being a complete geek for comic books and badly animated tv of the 80's it might have helped to incorporate the animation and star wars characters earlier. Having only DC characters up to that point made it kind of jarring. Maybe that's just too geeky a view.

Bentrandom - I guess the film is DC characters heavy, but that's pretty much based on which masks the writer/director could find on eBay for cheap.

I thought it was very cool. It held my attention the entire time. This is a very good concept. It was also technically on par, I disagree w/ the earlier comment on that. I really, really enjoyed it. I will have to watch it again when I get a chance.
