A collaberative idea

I've been experimenting with a little green screening and was surprised at how differently separate software packages can pull a key. With a chroma blur, Vegas seemed to do okay, but I know I've seen much better from other programs. Here's a link to a clip of just a couple seconds of green screen footage, it's under 5 mb. Would the folks of the forum mind downloading it, keying it in their favorite software, and posting the results?

I picked a fairly average clip. The green screen is lit fairly well, but not perfectly, and the subject is wearing a dark green shirt. I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone's willing to participate.

Here's the clip, let's see your chroma keying prowess.

Here's my result

I guess I should start things off with the result I got in Vegas. It's not too pretty. There's quite a bit of distracting abberation on the edges of the face.

Also, as a standard, could everyone post their results on a pure orange background for fair comparison?

Here's what Vegas turned out...

cromas

yes the boris key is much better. I haven´t experience with cromas but I read that is good a back light (walter graff have awesome articles about this).
I hear that keylight plugin for AE works well but I don´t work with this.

thans for your experiences. :)

Yes, from what I've read, Keylight seems to be one of the best. Makes me want to upgrade AE.

I agree with the necessity of a strong backlight- especially if you can't put a lot of distance between your subject and the screen. Without it, the green spill is horrendous.

Result with After Effects and dvmatte pro plugin

On a previous project, I had to do some green screen work. I'm a big fan of Vegas, but I couldn't get results I wanted. I found the dvGarage dvmatte pro plugin. I was really happy with the results. Here's what I came up with with just the basic settings with the plugin.

I have made some keying by UltraMagic, but I need some way to upload my result.
It's same size like TESTGS.avi has.
Please let me know how to upload it here.

Any chance we could get a different codec bokser?

This was shot interlaced? Windows is reporting it as "29 fps" and I don't know if I trust it.
