GH2 "A Clean Heart" Short film shot on GH2

Can you guys give me some more feedback on the video as well. I know the nature of the video is Christian but you don't have to comment on that. It would really mean a lot.

Job fairly nice done, but it didn't blow me away.
1st of all, the story. It's a bit too simple for my likings. Girl lies on floor dying, girl asks for God's advice and accepts God, girl wakes up happy in nature. There is no build-up in this story. Why is she lying down there? Why didn't she accept God in the 1st place? And so on. This way, I don't 'feel' the story. There is no drama.

Okay the camera work wasn't bad at all. Lit fairly good as well. The effects were a cool touch. You made the aspect ratio far too wide though. This is even wider than 2.35:1. Luckily I have a 27 inch 16:9 monitor so it wasn't that bad, but for people on a smaller monitor there isn't much of the image left on the screen... Edit was done well.

Lastly, the acting and mainly the voice-overs were pretty bad. She sounds like she's just reading it from a paper with some reverb added. Also the manly processed voice at the end sounds fake and plastic and doesn't fit to this story.

So, in short it's not bad but it's lacking important elements to drag the viewer into the story. Maybe there is an audience for this that wouldn't agree with me, but that's just how I see it.

Thanks alot for the feedback and tips Stab. What you said is very true, I knew since the day of the shoot that the acting and voice over were poorly done. But that's all I could get out of the non actor for it so I went with it. Still my fault tho. :/ Everything else you said Is really helpful as well God willing I'll have a chance to improve in the future. Thanks for taking time out of your day to help me out.
