A call to GH2 owners - 40fps mode

Can any GH2 owners post a few examples of the 40fps 4mpx mode. Any insight into it? Color rendition, resolution etc?
If possible, a framegrab from the 24p mode next to a still from the 4mpx mode, of the same subject, would be fantastic!

I know it seems pretty useless for video work, but for what I do, it could be ok.

The 40fps burst mode only does 1 second. Then it stops. Not very usable for most motion picture needs. Might be good for some carefully planned effects. For shots that in the end will not even last for 2 seconds. Sound is not recorded as well. You can only shoot in JPEG, not RAW format. Focus + Aperture is set on the first frame by default. If you want every frame with different focus, the speed drops.

So basically this feature is only usefull if you are shooting stills an wish to capture the exact right moment of an action.

Would the larger size provide enough info for the time plugins (twixtor etc) to do a more accurate job? I'm not too sure how those plugins actually work, but if those 40 frames are shot with enough separation between subject and backgd, can the increased size do the trick in making for smoother interpolation of in between frames?

It could be a nice way to do jumps or falls, particularly since slow mo modes are less res than the 24 capture in these cameras, would look nice if you had to scale down a slo mo sequence for once. dunno just thinking out loud. jumps falls punches kicks. A second is a long time in the vfx world. at least i think so.

I'm imagining 60fps in 720/60p is going to yield better slow motion video results then 40fps in still frames.

true, but if the frame size is larger, ie more data to fit in the final frame, which would be smaller than capture size, would it cause twixtor to perform better, provided the shot was planned to properly isolate the subbject? that was my question

Again, I still can't see how more detail would be more beneficial than more frames to motion tween with. I could be wrong, I'm no expert, but it just makes sense to me.
