A bit more time-lapse stuff

Works.
Looks lovely Sirius, you already had me on the music.
I love the corner shot of houses with big sky..W.O.W..timelapse is my fave...I love the Blade films for that alone...Good work...that shot again...wow

Thanks man - That shot is actually from my balcony. I wasn't sure how well it was going to turn out because the day I shot it the wind was kickin pretty bad.
Thanks for looking.

The suburbs cloud shot is nice. Good mix of colors and contrast.

Pink Floyd must be popular for time lapses... I used "Goodbye Cruel World" for one of my time lapse videos.

Taylor - Holy CRAP! I checked out your site and downloaded the big demo.
Seeing that makes me want to stop posting my timelapse garbage...:(
Was that all produced with a digital SLR like in the photograph or was that shot with a video camera?

PM me and let me know cost. I'm really getting into time-lapse stuff and would like to look into this system.

Good stuff Taylor. Is it better to shoot time laps footage in 60i for twice as many frames in order for smoothness of motion? Does anyone know of a software solution to speed up the clips of the cars w/o getting the jerks between frames. Maybe a program that can stuff 100's of frames into a second, instead of being limited by the nle system which is 24/30/60fps. Possible a blur/morph filter to make the scenes with cars flow better?

The timelapse on my site was done by my friend Rene who built his rig from scratch. About $100K he put into it. It used a digital SLR exporting frames to an external drive. Shoots from Film REZ to HD to SD.

Wow, the technology has got to be much cheaper now. I've already got the digital camera that can export to a harddrive so it really just comes down to a robotic head that can control the pan/tilt and zoom on the lens.
