hey friends ,

those of you with moderate or full rig setups example (mattebox/35mm adapter/HD Monitor/rig structure) , basically alot of attachments except the lenses , how do you move your rig from place to place? do u have a bag or case , or completely tear down into seperate cases?

im trying to find on bh photo a waterproof bag that will house my rig together to save time.

What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Chris

I find it much easier to tear the rig down for storage and travel. My shoulder rig, matte box, matte box flags, follow focus, and lens gears all fit snugly in a Pelican 1610. It's water-tight, and easily customized.

Generally an ENG camera bag will hold a smaller camera with a 35mm adapter. I have a kata ENG bag that held my ex1/redrock combo just fine. Mattebox and follow focus included.

Im going to go with this bag on ebay. Its more than enough in size. Then im going to go to homedepot and get a piece of perfectly cut peg board for the bottom of this bag to reinforce the bottom. Joanne fabrics has really cheap foam pieces that i can Screw/Glue to the pegboard for padding and to prevent the rig from moving around.

Thats my idea , hopefully it will work.
