Love your footage...looks very filmlike and the trailer works as it is. I would not call is junkie. I like the style. Cannot wait to see the finished project!

While the footage is dark, I do not have to fight to see what is going on... works well.

Very nice. It does look very filmlike. I love the use of the steadicam, I wish i had the cash to get one. I am still trying to save up enough money to buy that beautiful DVX100a! AAh! I NEED MY DVX!

That was filmed in 24p I assume. what settings did you use. looks great. when will the film be out?

Looks good. I feel like you need to crush your blacks though. It all looks a little milky.

yeah - DVX100, not A. Shot in 24p Advanced. This is footage prior to color correction. Film should be out later this year on DVD - depending on festivals...

The production had home video distribution in place before we started shooting, so it will be a commercially available DVD. The question is how to deal w/ film festivals... I'll be sure to keep ya'll posted.

I'm debating creating a limited, "filmmakers" edition of the project with all kinds of geeky and technical stuff for the other filmmakers who would want to know such things...

Did you use the wide angle or the anamorphic lens?

we used a .7mm century optics wide. no anamorphic. we're letter boxing in post. the project was intended for direct to DVD, so the resolution loss wasn't an issue... of course, now inronically the producers are talking about theatrical and festivals... a good problem to have I guess, that they're that confident with the cut. Time to uprez to HD!
