90 Second Web Spot

A nice little 90 second spot we produced for Georgetown. They are sending it out to all alumni to elicit some good memories to get them to donate at year end. I think the AF100 performed quite well.

Looks very nice! The colors really popped, something that - for whatever reason - seems to get a little lost in translation for a lot of AF100 footage I've seen.

Only real thing I'd liked to have seen were a few more wide shots of campus - other then that, just about perfect. BTW, could your tell us what lenses, editing system, and other juicy facts?

Great work.

Hey thanks very much! Only reason there are no wides is because we wanted to be in the POV of a person experiencing these moments. And because the audience is alumni we felt including any wides would be more indicative of "b-roll" as opposed to experiential moments. So it was a creative decision up front. We used only the Lumix 20mm and Zeiss 50mm Makro lenses. Shot nearly entirely on a monopod. And we edited on Premiere CS6.

Really nicely done, enjoyed that. If i may ask re the interior shots girl at desk, did you light it or did you just run with what was there.

Very, very nice, as is all your Georgetown stuff- thanks for sharing.

Excellent natsound, and sound editing, which goes that extra, uh, "step" to putting you in the subjects' shoes! Keeps it intimate...

Love the monopod feel!

Great music, too- where do you get your tracks?

Thanks vultch and grove! Everything was done with available light.

Grove, the music was originally composed for this piece by an awesome composer named Doug Kaufman.

Another nice one. I agree that the sound is awesome. Great mix. Nice to see a little direct sunlight in the AF100 stuff. Great cut too

Thanks John and hscully. Glad you noticed the sound design. We worked throughout the production to capture as many interesting sounds as we could.
