8mm/16mm transfered to DV50

I know a guy who wants some of his 8mm and Super8 home movies transferred to video. I don't have an HVX, so I just told him to find someone else that could do it.

When I do get my HVX, that might be something I'd want to look into. What are typical amounts that people charge for transferring 8mm/16mm to a high quality digital format, like DVCPRO50?

I have a unit from Moviestuff that I use "Sinper Pro" it does fine work for me I charge 29-19 cents a foot, transferd to DVD..
