$800 rebate on K and L

Just received an email from a local vendor about Sony rebates on F3 packages. :2vrolijk_08:

Or, since it looks like its pretty much across the board, it may just mean that overall sales are down due to the flagging economy.

Sony have typically introduced sales incentives in October on their pro video cameras and done it year after year.

And It's barely 5% -8% of the value of the camera... Seems more like a "sale" than any kind of major rebate. I don't see how a 5% rebate can really be a sign of anything.
