8 Frame Freeze before each clip

I imported using Roxio Toast to FCP. The footage was transcoded to DVCPRO 720/60.
The footage was filmed 24/720.

Never had a problem before but all 5 cards were just dropped on a timeline. There is a weird 5-8 frame freeze at the beginning of each clip?

Any ideas?

Just played them back in QT and same problem... so must be roxio transcode issue.

were you using the pre-record function on the 150?

I had the pre record on and noticed I get a glitch at the beginiing of eqch clip when transcoding with toast.
 
Does this only happen when the clips are placed against each other in the timeline to form a large clip and trancoded, or does it happen even when the individual clips are transcoded alone as well? I'm not familiar with the Mac workflow, but I know in some NLE's there is a glitch at the point where clips are joined. I'm not sure if this is what you are experiencing.
 
I did try transcoding just one clip and it has the same result. Even plays back in my Quicktime Viewer with the same effect. So the NLE is out for now.......
