7Q vs Camera Display - white balance bug?

I found out sth some very strange:
when I switch from daylight WB preset to tungsten 7Q switches to wrong side.

Let me explain.
Camera setting WB A manual WB to daylight 5600k
Camera setting WB B manual WB to tungsten 3200k

Lighting with Felloni LED, D50, daylight 5600k. Daylight preset "A" on FS700
no LUT, blue cast on 7Q

same set, no change except switch to preset "B" tungsten on camera
blue image on camera (right because daylight but tungsten WB)
warm image on 7Q ??

I read about a known issue in FW update announcement. Is is that what Mitch was talking about?
Can any body confirm this behaviour? How does your camera's LCD match to 7Q?

Yes this is the WB problem in RAW. It is supposed to be fixed in the coming FW update. It is annoying but can easily be fixed in Resolve.

I'm having the same problem with just monitoring when I'm not in RAW. Will the firmware update fix all white balance issues?

Yep, will be fixed in the next firmware update.
Already addressed in this thread -http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?317964-White-Balance-internal-vs-O7Q-Mitch

And also in the firmware thread.

Yes, this is the white balance issue. Yes, it will be addressed in the firmware update.

You may be interested to see this. Our monitor is actually incredibly accurate (as long as we get this part right!). A client was feeding regular SDI video to the Odyssey7Q from his C300 and framed up this photo rather nicely. The color matches so true it feels like you're looking through a window. Pretty remarkable.

Thanks for the explanation. Hopefully the FW update will come very soon.
It's hard to be patient with all these issues.
