I reported this to CD, but wanted to see if you guys experienced this.
I've shot several client jobs with the new firmware and with good success and great looking footy. I did have a weird file naming glitch on the last shoot.
I usually just shoot 1 card in the 7Q unless I want to do 240fps 2K or 60fps 4K. This job was 23.976fps, but it was a documentary style job where we were following around a pro basketball player so I didn't want to miss anything, so I put 2 CARDS in so I wouldn't have to swap. Here's some specifics:
1) the 7Q only recorded to 1 card since I did not have enough footage for the 7Q to start recording to the other. It took up about 114 gigs of space.
2) I did the "Safe Eject" for both cards and shut down the 7Q before removing cards.
3) When I copied the footage over and reviewed, I freaked out because the stuff I shot a the beginning of the day was not at the start of the .mov files. The stuff I shot in the middle of the day was at the start. I then noticed something weird (Refer to attached PIC), the shots from the MIDDLE of the day began at CLIP0000000_000.mov and went until CLIP0000080_000.mov, then it went back the shots at the START of the day where the naming convention jumped to CLIP0000877_000.mov and ended at CLIP0000999_000.mov.
So basically the 7Q miss-named the files from the start of the day as 080 and the files at the start of the day as 000.
Anyone else get this? Like I said, it was SCARY because I thought the footage from the start of the day had been lost somehow. Everything was on there though.

Sorry for the double attachment. I can't figure out how to remove the first.
